This year marks the Grant Park Conservancy's first annual Holiday Lights and Market arts and food festival, taking place along the paths and walkways of Grant Park on the same weekend of the Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Based on the European tradition of advent markets in old town squares, the Holiday Lights and Market combines a sparkling light display with a holiday gift market, food, holiday beverages and a musical repertoire to include choirs, choral groups and instrumentals.

At a time when people go inside for the winter, the Conservancy seeks to bring people to the Park for holiday enjoyment. The Conservancy seeks to build awareness of the park and enhance the image of the park across the metro area. Proceeds from the Holiday Lights and Market will benefit the work of the Grant Park Conservancy.
